Quince is a fine dining restaurant located in San Francisco's historic Jackson Square neighborhood. It was founded in 2003 by Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk and, according to its own presentation, has received accolades. The space recently underwent a year-long renovation and redesign.

Its offering is defined as contemporary Californian cuisine with Italian influences, presented through tasting menus that change each night.

Menus and spaces

The Gastronomy Menu, a tasting experience composed nightly by Chef Michael Tusk, is served exclusively in the main dining room and is presented as the restaurant's definitive experience.

In the bar and salon, called the Bolinas Bar, guests can opt for the California Coast & Valleys menu, a four-course offering conceived as a celebration of the state's terroir, accompanied by a selection of cocktails and wines. Seating in this space is on a first-come, first-served basis, except for those booking the California Coast & Valleys menu, which requires a prior reservation.

In addition, a four-course lunch menu is offered every Friday and Saturday, described as an elegant midday pause.

Relationship with Fresh Run Farm

The restaurant's kitchen relies on a unique collaboration with Fresh Run Farm: Chef Michael Tusk and Peter Martinelli plan the crops each season in Bolinas's particular microclimate. This relationship with the farm is reflected in the menus and in the Bolinas Bar offering, presented as a tribute to the farm and a culinary exploration of the Californian territory.
