About The Taco Stand Miami

From the Baja border to Wynwood

The Taco Stand began in San Diego with inspiration from Tijuana and the Baja Peninsula, then brought its counter-service format to Miami. Tortillas, salsas and guacamole are made from scratch daily. The Wynwood branch at 313 NW 25th Street is the main address here; Calle Ocho belongs in the same city profile.

Pastor is rotisserie-marinated pork with pineapple and cilantro salsa. Carne asada uses flame-grilled Angus steak, guacamole, onion and cilantro. Baja tacos carry battered fish, cabbage and chipotle salsa; the grilled mahi-mahi version offers another preparation. Shrimp tacos add melted cheese and avocado. Mushroom with grilled onion and garlic, or cactus with cheese, provide vegetable choices.

The Sonora taco puts steak, melted cheese and beans in flour. Mar y tierra combines spicy grilled shrimp and Angus steak. A California burrito adds fries, cheese and sour cream to the steak filling; it is a fuller meal than a single taco. Volcanes use a crisp corn tostada under melted cheese and meat. Churros are freshly prepared in three-piece orders.

Two Miami locations

Both location pages list 10:30 a.m. openings, closing at 10 p.m. Sunday–Wednesday, midnight Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday–Saturday. Online pickup closes a little earlier. Wynwood has outdoor seating; street parking is available in the neighborhood. The official selector separates pickup, delivery options and catering by location. South Beach is in Miami Beach, a separate city.

Choose Wynwood or Calle Ocho for an order.
