About Taqueria El Paisa Fort Lauderdale
A small outdoor stop with a broad cut list
El Paisa’s Davie Boulevard address lies west of Interstate 95, with a compact counter and limited outdoor picnic seating. Much of its trade is takeout. The attraction is a taco list extending beyond steak and chicken: lengua, cabeza, tripa, buche, barbacoa and chicharrón accompany pastor and chorizo.
The regular preparations are straightforward enough for a small mixed order. A three-taco special offers a fuller meal; quesadillas, burritos and tortas use steak, chicken, pastor or sausage. Gorditas come as a three-piece order with the selected filling. The distinction between an individual taco and a combination matters when planning lunch.
Soup gives the kitchen another direction. Pozole, menudo, beef-and-vegetable broth and chicken soup are listed separately. Current customer accounts praise the menudo’s seasoning and taco fillings, while also reporting that specialty cuts can sell out. Someone arriving late should treat the cut list as a selection subject to the day’s supply.
Two city addresses and one regional alternative
- Davie Boulevard:2500 Davie Boulevard; 754-254-2048 on the main site. The linked merchant menu also uses 754-701-4969. Daily 11 a.m.–11 p.m., Friday–Saturday until 1 a.m.
- Fort Lauderdale west:1243 SW 37th Avenue; 954-681-8482. The site lists several evening services from 5 p.m. but has an inconsistent Sunday opening; call for this branch’s schedule.
- Plantation:1951 N Pine Island Road; 754-254-1902. Sunday 11–18, Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 11–22, Tuesday/Friday/Saturday 11–24. Plantation is a separate city.
The official selector offers pickup and delivery by address. Outdoor seating and limited parking make Davie a practical short stop rather than an air-conditioned dining-room occasion.
