Restaurant Pine is the first restaurant from Northumberland-born chef Cal Byerley and his partner Siân Buchan. The establishment is located at Vallum Farm, in East Wallhouses, and bases its offering on a tasting menu that uses ingredients grown in its own kitchen garden.

Dining offering

The restaurant's offering is divided into two distinct services. On the one hand, a classic three-tier afternoon tea with a refined, modern approach. On the other, a generous tasting menu served in the evening that incorporates produce from the onsite garden.

Service hours

The restaurant is open Wednesday to Friday from 19:00 to 00:00. On Saturdays it offers two sittings: 12:30 to 16:00 and 19:00 to 00:00. It is closed Sunday to Tuesday.

The project is led by Cal Byerley, a chef originally from Northumberland, and his partner Siân Buchan. The restaurant is presented as their debut in the industry.
