About Noor Restaurant
Noor Restaurant, Paco Morales’s Andalusian fine dining in Córdoba
Noor Restaurant is the gastronomic project of chef Paco Morales, one of the most outstanding figures of Spanish gastronomy according to the establishment’s own presentation. His culinary proposal is inspired by Andalusian history and culture, whose historical high point was the Caliphate of Abderramán III, which made Cordoba the most learned and advanced city of its time.
The restaurant has three Michelin stars, according to its website, and cites support of national and international diners and specialist critics. Morales’ cuisine is characterized by its capacity for innovation and by bringing to the present time the most refined aromas and flavours of Al-Andalus, recreated in a contemporary, avant-garde form.
Historical research and seasonal menus
Noor's research work is draws on documentary sources, historians, archaeologists and designers, who have shaped the restaurant's universe. This work is reflected in the history of Paco Morales' creations in each of his seasons, articulated around tasting menus.
The restaurant website offers the possibility to consult the menus and make reservations through its online system.
Noor Experience: Gift Cards and Recipe Book
Under the name Noor Experience, the restaurant allows you to give a dining experience or purchase Paco Morales's recipe book. To do this, the website indicates that the buyer must contact by specifying their name and phone, and the restaurant sends the details of the purchase process.
Reservations and cancellation policy
Reservations are managed by a web engine. Once made, the guest receives an email confirming the validity of the reservation with all the corresponding information. Two days before the date and time reserved, the system sends an email and SMS in which the guest must reconfirm or cancel the reservation; only after that reconfirmation the reservation is fully confirmed. It is also possible to confirm by phone to the restaurant.
Changes of date or number of diners are accommodated whenever they are requested at least 48 hours in advance and there are places available. At the time of booking, credit card details are requested; if a credit or debit card has not been introduced within 24 hours, the system automatically cancels the reservation and releases the table.
If you do not show up without prior notice or do not cancel at least 48 hours in advance, an amount of 120 euros per person is charged when the reservation has an associated cancellation policy. In the case of gift cards (Noor Experience) the same policy applies, except that no penalty is charged, but the right to enjoy the gift card is forfeited.
Conditions for diners
Due to the long duration of the menus, children under the age of 8 are not accepted. If a child over the age of 8 does not wish to take any of the three tasting menus, it is necessary to contact the restaurant in advance. Reservations of three diners or fewer should take the same menu, as the menus are for the whole table. Any modification of the number of diners should be notified 48 hours in advance; otherwise, and if fewer diners are presented, the total amount of the menu is charged.
Allergies or food intolerances should be communicated at least 48 hours in advance to ensure the enjoyment of all diners. The restaurant asks for punctuality. It does not have a special menu for vegetarians, although it adapts its dishes to be suitable for vegetarians; instead, its ingredients do not allow to modify dishes for vegans. For groups of more than six diners it is necessary to contact the restaurant beforehand.
