Pennsylvania’s Ready to Succeed Scholarship (RTSS) supports students with strong academic performance and financial need. The current Pennsylvania College of Technology page, from a participating institution, lists 2026–27 awards of $1,500 to $3,000. This is a possible range, not an amount guaranteed to every applicant or campus.
That institutional guide lists at least 24 non-remedial credits, a GPA of 2.50 or higher, and family income below $208,000, alongside state-aid application steps. PHEAA’s portal notice describes the transition to GrantUs for state aid. Confirm that your college participates and whether it applies additional cohort-specific criteria.
The campus page says there is no separate RTSS application: students complete FAFSA and Pennsylvania’s State Grant Form. This matters because an incomplete account or form can prevent review even when grades and income appear to qualify. Check GrantUs, outstanding documents, and your college’s response.
Do not confuse RTSS with Pell, the Pennsylvania State Grant, or an automatic GPA scholarship. Dates vary by aid and applicant type; for 2026–27, verify the current calendar and contact your campus if a date has passed. The RTSS profile and PHEAA profile link to institutional criteria and the portal.
Before budgeting, request a written offer separating tuition, mandatory fees, housing, meals, books, and transportation. State grants often reduce only eligible charges and may change after Pell or other scholarships are applied. Do not commit money based on a chart maximum.
Your campus office should confirm missing documents, institutional eligibility, and disbursement timing. The program profile expands on the criteria; the public-agency profile links to applications, deadlines, and official help.

Research checked on October 12, 2026 against official or institutional sources. Past deadlines are identified, and eligibility is distinguished from an actual award. Confirm the cycle, your file, and available funds with the agency and your college financial-aid office.
Confirm the participating campus, State Grant Form, and GrantUs documents; the award range is not a guaranteed offer.
