How do I renew my North Dakota car registration in Fargo?

In Fargo, the practical question is not only how to renew a plate but when to do it. North Dakota’s Motor Vehicle registration manual says there is no grace period after the registration expires. Follow the date and instructions on the renewal invoice, and start before the deadline rather than relying on a mailing reminder. After payment it prints the renewed registration card and validation tab on the spot, avoiding postal delivery time.
