Three nearby programs give Fort Lauderdale families very different entry points. Fort Lauderdale Rush runs developmental and competitive club teams across Mills Pond and Hardy Park. Fort Lauderdale United Juniors is a beginner-friendly recreational season at a Davie training facility. AGS Youth Soccer offers age-specific indoor classes in Oakland Park. The last two sites are in neighboring municipalities, so the city name in a search result should not replace checking the street address.
Rush’s 2026–27 schedule shows how a club season is organized. Future Stars is listed Tuesday and Thursday, 4:50–5:50 p.m., at Mills Pond or Hardy Park; older teams have other evening blocks, and goalkeeper sessions are listed separately. Mills Pond has three soccer-specific turf fields with LED lighting; Hardy Park uses a lit multipurpose field. Rush warns that locations can change, and it does not publish one all-ages tuition table. Ask for the assigned field and the total after registration, uniforms, leagues and tournaments.
Juniors is a shorter commitment for ages four to twelve: two weekly sessions, Monday and Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Its Fall 2026 season runs September 14–December 4 for twelve weeks and twenty-four practices at 6880 Mary McCahill Drive in Davie. Regular price is $199; the club says equipment is provided and lists indoor gym access, merchandise discounts and professional match tickets as benefits. Winter 2026–27 is scheduled December 14–March 5, but registration was marked as not yet open on October 30. Check the current page before budgeting for the next cohort.
AGS’s Oakland Park catalog is built around classes rather than one club roster. October listings show Friday groups beginning at 4 p.m. for several ages, with $95 every four weeks. The organization describes a climate-controlled venue, structured drills, scrimmage time and 60-minute sessions, without tryouts or annual dues. Families who wrote about the exact program describe patient coaches, children engaged in class and a welcoming reception; a recent parent said a two-year-old loved attending. Ask which birth-year group is open and who will lead its session.
Broward has a professional first-division women’s side: Fort Lauderdale United competes in the USSF Division I Gainbridge Super League at Amerant Bank Field in Davie. Its men are due to start in USL League One, Division III, in 2027. Inter Miami CF plays in MLS at Miami Freedom Park. These teams make the region a serious soccer market, but do not guarantee a place in any youth pathway. Compare age, weekly travel, indoor versus outdoor setting, tryout policy and full season price. Start with the Rush schedule, the Juniors enrollment page and AGS’s live class list.
Confirm the child’s team, current field assignment and full season cost before registering.
