About Fort Lauderdale Rush
Fort Lauderdale Rush offers a path from introductory play to club competition. Its site lists developmental teams U4–U12 and competitive teams U9–U19. The 2026–27 schedule is team-specific: for example, Future Stars meets Tuesday and Thursday from 4:50 to 5:50 p.m. at Mills Pond or Hardy Park, while older groups have other weeknight blocks and the club schedules goalkeeper training by age. Rush warns that practices can move, so confirm the current field before the first visit.
Mills Pond is the main soccer complex at 2201 NW 9th Avenue. The club describes three soccer-specific artificial-turf fields and LED stadium lighting. Florence C. Hardy Park, at 25 SW 9th Street, has a lit multipurpose field used for many younger groups. These sites create different drives across the city; “Rush practice” alone is not an address. The City lists amenities at Mills Pond including restrooms, a playground, concession and community center. Rush does not publish one current all-ages fee table, so ask what registration, uniform, league and tournament charges add to the season total.
Parents can compare the weekly commitment from the public schedule before calling. Future Stars is twice weekly; competitive teams generally list two or three weekday sessions and weekend games. A goalkeeper schedule is published separately. Players interested in competitive placement can contact Rush and train with an age-group team for evaluation, according to the club; this is not a guarantee of a roster place. Its 2026 summer camp was a dated offer for ages six to fourteen and has passed, so it should not be treated as currently available.
Fort Lauderdale is also home to professional first-division soccer nearby. Fort Lauderdale United’s women compete in the USSF Division I Gainbridge Super League at Amerant Bank Field in Davie; its men are due to start in USL League One, Division III, in 2027. Inter Miami CF plays in MLS at Miami Freedom Park. These clubs provide a regional professional context, not an affiliation with Rush. Families should compare birth year, assigned field, weekly drive, playing level and total cost; the live Rush schedule is the best place to start.
