Claro: Farm-to-Table Mediterranean Dining in Tel Aviv

Claro is a fine-dining restaurant at 30 David Elazar Street, on the corner of 23 Ha-Arba Street, in Tel Aviv. Part of the city’s dining scene, it presents itself as a contemporary open-kitchen restaurant built around a farm-to-table approach.

The Building: A Former Templar Winery from 1886

The restaurant occupies a 1,100-square-meter Templar building constructed in 1886. The Sarona Winegrowers’ Cooperative built it as the area’s first industrial winery. Its renovation sought to preserve the distinctive history of the agricultural colony established there.
