Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship

Up to nine months or $30,000 for eligible students nearing GI Bill/Fry exhaustion; fields and program types are restricted.

About Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship

It is a limited extension of GI Bill education benefits for STEM study and certain clinical or teaching pathways.

VA covers students in approved undergraduate STEM or dual-degree programs, certain clinical training for health professionals, and STEM teaching certification after an approved degree. In general, six months or less of GI Bill/Fry entitlement must remain, unless another eligibility route applies. The program’s CIP code can control even when the major’s name differs; check the current list.

Check VA’s approved fields and CIP codes, confirm remaining entitlement, and file online using Form 22-10203 before benefits are fully exhausted. The school must certify the program and enrollment. Keep records of months and credits; VA may request additional documentation.
