About Taqueria Emanuel Tampa
Breakfast before the taco lunch
Taqueria Emanuel’s small West Tampa restaurant opens the day with eggs, chilaquiles and breakfast burritos before moving into a broad taco menu. The family-run kitchen occupies 2800 North MacDill Avenue. Its current site and breakfast posts agree on an 8:30 a.m. start, replacing the varying earlier hours still found on older pages.
The breakfast burrito combines steak, egg, cheese and potatoes, then goes back to the grill. Chilaquiles in red or green salsa carry steak and a fried egg. Huevos motuleños stack fried tortillas, beans and eggs with ham, sausage and sauce; huevos rancheros take another tortilla-and-egg route. Breakfast is promoted until noon.
For tacos, lengua and tripa sit alongside carne asada and shredded beef barbacoa. Cochinita pibil arrives with red onion and habanero; chorizo with potato offers a different pork filling. The campechano mixes steak and sausage with spicy pico and pork rind. Grilled tilapia, shrimp and chipotle chicken widen the choice.
Three-piece alambre tacos combine steak, peppers, onion and mozzarella. The Hawianos add pineapple and cheese. Quesabirria comes in a three-piece order with consommé. A gordita, a bean-topped sope or the fried Mexican quesadilla gives the same kitchen a different corn shape. Horchata, jamaica and fresh pineapple or watermelon drinks are recurring favorites in customer accounts, alongside praise for patient service.
MacDill contact
Call the restaurant’s own contact, 813-453-5954. Current hours are Monday–Saturday 8:30 a.m.–9 p.m.; Sunday is closed. Its linked Otter menu provides pickup and delivery options. The dining room is small, so takeout is useful for a group needing more space.
