Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company began in Tampa in 1984 as one of Florida’s first specialty coffee roasters. The city remains its base, although the selection has grown to include coffee for restaurants, offices, and homes. Its story connects the roaster’s work with a store where origins, blends, flavored coffees, and themed collections sit alongside one another.

Chris de Mezzo leads coffee development as roastmaster. The company credits that work with more than one hundred varieties, including the well-known Jamaican Me Crazy. The catalog offers whole beans or ground coffee for various products and separates espresso, cold-brew, decaf, organic, and single-serve cup lines. Shoppers can start with the brewing method or the style of coffee.

Flavored coffees have a section of their own. Dubai Chocolate, Angel’s Kiss, Caramel Mudslide, Peanut Butter Mocha, Bananas Foster, and Cinnamon Streusel show the collection’s breadth. Joffrey’s Choice offers a monthly rotation of three coffees selected by the roastmaster; Disney Collection brings together three specialty blends inspired by parks and resorts; Build Your Own allows favorites, origin coffees, and flavored varieties to be combined. This structure distinguishes a curated selection from a box assembled by the shopper.

Tea completes the offering with black, green, and oolong varieties, alongside rooibos and herbal infusions. Breakfast Blend Tea Sachets and Blackberry Jasmine are two items in that section. Cold drinks include Cold Brew Blend in whole-bean or ground form and sweetened Shakin Jamaican cans prepared with nondairy milk. Customer participation also has a place in Flavor Originator, an annual contest that receives flavor ideas and allows proposals to be put to a vote.
