CT Moving & Storage

In Southington, Flynn’s Motor Express Inc. operates as CT Moving & Storage. The 100 Smoron Road address appears on the corporate website and its specific Google Maps profile, distinguishing this office from similarly named businesses. The company describes itself as family-run and says it handles residential and commercial moves throughout Connecticut.

Its service menu goes beyond furniture transportation: it lists packing, local and long-distance moving, loading or unloading containers and rental trucks, and climate-controlled storage. For customers holding belongings between a home closing and a new move-in date, the company describes combined moving and storage. The estimate should spell out price, storage duration, access rules and handling fees.

Favorable comments on the exact listing mention coordination before moving day, care in protecting floors and surfaces, and crews that disassemble or reassemble furniture. Some accounts also describe courteous teams and items placed in the requested rooms. These are reports of individual moves; ask what protective materials are included, how pieces are inventoried and who supervises the crew.

The company says it serves Connecticut and lists counties from Hartford and New Haven to Fairfield, Tolland, Middlesex, Litchfield, Windham and New London. CTDOT’s 2026 roster lists Flynn’s Motor Express DBA CT Moving and Storage under certificate 257. For a local or city-to-city move in the state, ask that the contract name this legal entity and check the certificate in eLicense before moving day.

The company advertises long-distance service, but the federal record for Flynn’s Motor Express shows an active USDOT number and authority for property except household goods. This profile therefore focuses on routes within Connecticut: before an interstate household move, ask which carrier will take the shipment and check that carrier’s federal authority for household goods.

The company lists (860) 628-6373 and an official form to request a quote. Before booking, provide a complete inventory and confirm whether the price is binding, what packing includes, how long goods may remain in storage and which document you will sign after loading.
