About Berna Moving & Storage Inc.
From South Elgin, Berna Moving & Storage combines a long-running family business with services for household, commercial and office moves. Its website dates the operation to 1925 and lists local, statewide and national relocations, workplace moves and senior moves. The office can serve as a coordination point for people outside Chicago comparing a route between suburbs or to another part of Illinois.
The service list includes packing and unpacking, custom crates for fragile or oversized items, loading, temperature-controlled storage and corporate furniture moves. The website describes short- and long-term warehouse storage and says it does not offer individual locker units. For a household between closing dates, this may allow a combined move-and-storage estimate, with duration, inventory, access terms and price separated clearly.

These are individual reports, not an assessment of every service; customers can ask which crew will pack, how the inventory is recorded and who will track the shipment if a national network is involved.
