About Fuego Tortilla Grill — San Marcos
A Texas taco menu with a different set of fillings
Fuego Tortilla Grill builds its tacos around handmade flour tortillas, with corn available as an option. The San Marcos menu linked by the business takes a deliberately expansive approach: smoked brisket can share a taco with barbecue sauce, while fried chicken, avocado, potatoes and macaroni and cheese appear in other combinations. This is a useful choice when a group wants large, composed tacos rather than assembling a small street-taco order.
The Dr Pepper Cowboy combines brisket, fried onion, its namesake barbecue sauce, chipotle creamed corn and jack cheese. Good Golly Miss Holly takes brisket toward macaroni and cheese and Cheetos. The Hippie uses breaded fried chicken, bacon, creamed corn, guacamole and cheese; the vegetarian Tot-Cho Libre puts tater tots, queso, cheese, pico and guacamole in a corn tortilla. Those names refer to specified recipes, not just different sizes.
Breakfast beyond the morning
The current menu labels breakfast tacos as served all day. Bacon, sausage, chorizo or potato with egg and cheese sit alongside bean-and-cheese tacos. The Fuego Deluxe adds beans, grilled onion, potato and queso to eggs and bacon. A breakfast box by the dozen offers a shared-order format. Roasted poblano queso with chips provides a separate side built around pepper jack and roasted peppers.
Check the temporary drive-through notice
The branch is at 913 South I-35 Frontage Road; call 512-754-8226. The San Marcos page advertises 24-hour service Tuesday–Sunday and Monday closure, but its live page also carries a temporary drive-through closure notice. An overnight car-window visit should therefore not be assumed available from the general slogan. Online ordering selects this specific branch; delivery platforms list their own availability and service windows.
