A local taco business, now on a smaller map

Lisandro “Chando” Madrigal established Chando's Tacos in 2010, adapting family recipes into a business that expanded well beyond its Arden Way beginning. Its current map is smaller than older roundups suggest. After a shutdown in July 2025, Madrigal announced a return later that year. The business's present website directs ordinary pickup orders to Arden Way and Power Inn Road; those are the two Sacramento counters covered here.

The menu offers asada, chicken, carnitas, adobada, chorizo and cochinita tacos. Fish and shrimp have separate grilled and Ensenada preparations, allowing a diner to distinguish a grilled seafood taco from a fried version. Birria and quesabirria provide another direction. Guacamole is currently marked as an addition rather than an included taco topping, a small detail that helps make an order match expectations.

Cheese changes the format in the quesataco and mulita sections; burritos, tortas and bowls turn the same range of fillings into larger meals. Potato and spinach tacos extend the choices beyond meat, but the potato item explicitly contains dairy. An all-day breakfast section is also listed, with tacos, burritos and rancheros.

These are published ordering windows. The website links branch-specific pickup and DoorDash delivery; the restaurant numbers also accept phone enquiries. They are not separate delivery-only lines. For a gathering, the Taco Pack is advertised for roughly four to ten-plus guests with two hours' notice; the larger Taco Kit requires twenty-four hours. Those are advance group products, distinct from an immediate individual order.
