About Tortas El Rey Orlando
The same filling, several ways to eat it
Tortas El Rey’s name points to the sandwich, but its Orange Blossom Trail kitchen is just as useful for a small taco order. Carne asada, pastor, grilled chicken, carnitas, chorizo and cabeza appear across the menu. Choosing the base changes the meal as much as choosing the meat.
A soft taco keeps the order small. A gordita offers a thicker corn preparation; sopes and huaraches provide a broader base for the filling. The torta makes the same meat into a complete sandwich. Grilled steak tortas and burritos lead the restaurant’s own most-ordered section, alongside a four-taco lunch and the burrito special. The lunch offer runs Tuesday–Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Quesabirrias come in three- or four-piece orders, with a separate consommé option and birria sold by the container. Red-salsa pork and green-salsa chicken tamales provide a different corn preparation. Beef or chicken flautas include rice and beans. The taco salad uses an edible shell, while asada fries move the toppings onto potatoes.
Customer accounts regularly single out seasoned pastor and cabeza. A 2026 response from the business acknowledges a delayed online pickup in the drive-through: ordering ahead does not guarantee an immediate handoff. The site now identifies 6127 South Orange Blossom Trail; some delivery listings still show 6151.
