NYC DCAS Mayor’s Scholarship Program Office

The Mayor’s Scholarship Program office sits within the Department of Citywide Administrative Services, the agency that publishes opportunities connected to municipal employment. For graduate study, DCAS lists One Centre Street, Room 2425, New York, NY 10007, along with 212-386-0059 and MGSP@dcas.nyc.gov. The checked guidance page does not publish walk-in service hours.

The office helps employees find the current offering guide, understand the process, and direct questions to the right office. Offers and requirements can differ by school, degree, and cycle. For 2027–28, the page marks graduate applications open; employees should still review participating institutions and each school’s deadlines before sending records.

DCAS recommends preparing early: read all terms, request academic records, keep written responses within stated limits, and verify every programme deadline. The City team does not replace a college’s admissions decision or scholarship decision; participating institutions make those decisions. The graduate programme profile explains who may apply and which employment conditions continue during study.

Who it serves and what it can cover: DCAS explains how to review the offering guide, prepare an application file, confirm each school’s deadlines, and contact the programme. The office does not itself select or fund awards; participating institutions determine scholarships.

How to apply or get help: NYC DCAS, One Centre Street, Room 2425, New York, NY 10007; 212-386-0059; MGSP@dcas.nyc.gov. For case-specific questions, contact the program or financial-aid office named on its official page.
