A fuller Mexican table on Calle Ocho

Mi Rinconcito Mexicano has been part of Miami’s Mexican food conversation for more than fifteen years. Its Calle Ocho dining room and busy bakery make it useful for more than a quick taco stop: a table can start with guacamole, share an alambre and finish with flan or take home pan dulce.

The chorreados explain much of its appeal. Corn tortillas carry beans and melted cheese before the meat is added. Pastor includes pineapple, onion and cilantro; carnitas, adobada, chorizo, beef and lengua provide other versions. A lamb barbacoa option is separately listed. Regular three-taco orders offer a simpler comparison without the cheese-and-bean layer.

The alambre combines beef, pork, bacon and chorizo with peppers, onions and melted cheese, accompanied by tortillas. A tampiqueña puts steak alongside cheese enchiladas, rice, beans and guacamole. Chicken mole, a cheese-stuffed poblano and enchiladas with red, green or mole sauce give the meal several directions. The bakery is another reason regulars return.

Favorable accounts repeatedly mention lengua, chicken mole and ample combination plates. Delivery comments dated July–September 2026 also describe fresh tacos for a group order and prompt service. Dining-room experiences are less uniform on waiting and added charges; the final bill deserves the same attention as the menu price. Parking behind the restaurant is limited.
