About Palm Beach State College — Loxahatchee Groves Campus
Loxahatchee Groves is PBSC’s newest campus. It opened in 2017 on a 75-acre site along Southern Boulevard, with wetlands and cypress trees that set it apart from the more urban buildings in the eastern county. The location is intended to serve western communities—including Loxahatchee, The Acreage, Royal Palm Beach, and Wellington—without requiring every class trip to begin with a long drive to Lake Worth.
The locations page identifies the campus, while its directory helps students confirm active academic services and current-term classes. Because course schedules at a newer site can vary by discipline, check whether your major’s required sequence is taught there or only some classes. For programs with labs, clinical placements, or technical equipment, ask where practice occurs, on which days, and whether another campus is involved.
PBSC tuition is calculated by credit and varies by residency and program; there is no separate rural-campus rate. The current official fee page distinguishes associate and technical programs, bachelor’s study, and noncredit options. Before counting on a scholarship, confirm that both your program and location are eligible and that the award covers the costs you actually face, not tuition alone.
A 75-acre campus opened in 2017 to serve western Palm Beach County and connect college training with its rural setting.
