The 2027 application opened September 9 and closes November 19, 2026, at 5 p.m. Pacific. Applicants need at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment at an accredited nonprofit U.S. institution, and LGBTQ+ membership or ally status. High-school seniors may apply if they meet the program’s senior-standing requirement at application time; fully online programs are ineligible.
Alongside the award, scholars attend an in-person summer conference and virtual programming during each academic term; Point also describes an alumni network, workshops, and professional connections. Read the full application and submit materials before the last day: semifinalists may receive additional instructions, and prior applications are not available to reuse. Former recipients may apply again only if they exited their prior program in active status, and students cannot hold two Point scholarships at once.
