About EverWash
EverWash: unlimited car wash memberships at partner car washes
EverWash is a U.S. company that sells unlimited car wash memberships for a reduced monthly fee, redeemable at local car washes in its partner network. The company combines that offer for drivers with a technology platform aimed at car wash owners, designed to manage customer relationships and improve business performance through data analytics and user-focused marketing.
The member app
The driver service is built around a mobile app that handles the entire membership. From it, you can add additional vehicles, refer others, and manage your subscription. Wash access is done by scanning the app, with no need for tags or windshield stickers, and the scan works through the glass, so you don't have to roll down your window. The company presents the app as a tool to keep your car regularly clean and, according to its approach, with less environmental impact than frequent conventional washing.
The sign-up process described on the site consists of four steps: download the app, create an account, find a nearby car wash using your zip code, and sign up for a plan to start washing. Membership can be canceled at any time from the app itself.
Offer for car wash owners
EverWash also operates as a technology partner for car washes. It offers operators a comprehensive solution to manage customer interactions and get data-driven recommendations that improve business performance. Among the benefits it lists for partners are reduced wait times, increased customer loyalty, growth of the membership base, marketing to customers on the wash's behalf, and operational peace of mind. The company claims its platform can increase the overall profitability of the car wash and offers sales support through a form or direct contact, with a response within 24 hours.
History and growth
The project began in 2013, when entrepreneurs John Cassady and Scott Caplan proposed applying the gym subscription model to the car wash industry. EverWash was formally incorporated in 2016 and launched its mobile app with a handful of car washes in the Philadelphia area. In 2019, with more than 200 active car washes on the platform, the company describes itself as one of the largest car wash networks in the country.
In 2020 it was included in Andreessen Horowitz's (a16z) Marketplace 100 list and ranked as the fourth fastest-growing consumer or private company in the United States. That same year it appeared on the Inc. 5000 list, where it repeated in 2023, reaching position 2382, and again in 2024, adding its third consecutive appearance.
Acquisitions and technological capabilities
The company has strengthened its technology through several acquisitions. In 2021 it acquired omniX Labs, a machine learning and vehicle analytics company. In 2023 it added JetSpring, a full-service contact center with digital communication and customer support solutions for partner car washes. In 2024 it added Coinless, a mobile payment solutions provider, with the goal of expanding the efficiency and reach of its remote-start and hardware solutions.
Publications and support
EverWash maintains a blog with content on automotive and vehicle care; among the posts featured on the site are articles on the relationship between cars and pop music, DIY cleaning hacks, and a day at the American racing circuit.
