Moretz Moving

Moretz Moving operates from Old Callahan Drive in Knoxville and describes itself as a locally owned family business. Its website states that it has more than thirty years of experience and advertises residential and commercial service in Tennessee. For a move from one end of the state to another, that statement is a reason to request a route-specific estimate, not a guarantee that every route or date is available.

For households, the company offers home and apartment moves and lists 24-foot box trucks. It also advertises packing for fragile items and collectibles, as well as piano and organ handling. For businesses, it lists commercial moves and trucks suited to desks, printers and other equipment. Ask which tasks are included, whether the crew will pack everything or only selected rooms and which items need special preparation.

Positive comments tied to the Knoxville listing highlight respectful, knowledgeable workers, punctual arrivals, careful handling and help placing belongings in a storage unit. Some customers describe hiring the company again years later. These are personal accounts; to assess fit for your move, confirm who will lead the crew, how furniture is protected and what happens if a box or item arrives damaged.

The official site lists 865-938-5810, an email address and a contact form for estimate requests. Before hiring for a move within Tennessee, ask for the legal entity that will appear on the contract and confirm the applicable intrastate authority and cargo-insurance coverage. If the move leaves the state, check the federal FMCSA record of the carrier that will actually transport the shipment. To request information or a price estimate, use the official form: request a moving quote.
