About Sherman’s Lounge

Fenton Road connects Flint’s southern neighbourhoods with shops and services; MTA Route 11 serves the corridor. Sherman’s is at 4211 and, according to its official website, has operated since 1969 as a bar and local-band venue. Bus service may work earlier in the evening, but MTA says the last bus leaves downtown at 10:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. For late games or concerts, arrange another way back.

The official site lists several flat-screen TVs, three pool tables, video games and keno, with live music on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. It is a neighbourhood music bar with TVs, not a venue advertising giant screens or continuous sports broadcasts. We found no public league or channel schedule. Ask which matchup will be shown and whether it will have sound, especially when a band is on stage.

The kitchen serves pizza, stromboli, subs, signature sandwiches and fried snacks. Recent reviews highlight pizza, wings and stromboli, and describe people returning for music as well as food. The site says the kitchen stays open late, although its pages do not agree on Sunday hours; check the current event and schedule before going. The room may be louder on band nights than during a regular game.

The official page links Facebook, X and Instagram, and its calendar shows which nights are reserved for concerts or karaoke. The public listing notes parking and accessibility but does not detail capacity or reserved spaces. Social House is another Fenton Road venue, more oriented toward a full dinner and game-day menu; Sherman’s offers a simpler plan of music, pool and classic bar food.
