A family kitchen with more than one kind of taco

Nally's grew from meals that Nassr and Alicia Muhamad prepared for friends and family into a Davenport restaurant. Rockingham Road is the address on its current website. The menu gives a diner several ways to put together a taco lunch: individual tacos, three-piece orders, a grilled version with melted cheese, and a family pack with fillings and toppings kept ready for assembly at home.

The grilled taco uses a lightly fried corn tortilla around cheese and a chosen protein, with grilled onion and jalapeño available. It makes a useful contrast to the regular taco, whose tortilla and toppings are selected with the order. Steak, chicken and beef have their own three-taco listings; shrimp is another option. The twelve-taco packs and family meal are worth considering for a shared lunch before ordering each person's food separately.

Empanadas and a slower meal

Savoury empanadas include a sirloin-and-queso version. Red pork tamales and huaraches broaden the masa-based choices; steak and potato or chicken and potato guisados lead toward a plated meal. A vegetable guisado uses broccoli, cauliflower and potatoes. Dessert can stay within the same kitchen: sweet empanadas, filled churros and caramel tres leches are listed alongside the savoury dishes.

Delivery platforms can have shorter operating windows than the restaurant itself.
