The Berkshire Room

The Berkshire Room, classic cocktails in River North

The Berkshire Room is a cocktail bar located in Chicago's River North neighborhood, inside the ACME Hotel. Its beverage program is built on expertly crafted classic cocktails and a seasonally rotating menu, accompanied by an extensive selection of spirits, both approachable and highly sought-after.

Dealer's Choice, the interactive experience

The establishment is especially known for its "Dealer's Choice" offering, a personalized cocktail experience in which the guest takes part in the selection. The process begins by choosing the type of glass — lowball, highball, coupe, flute or hurricane — and continues with the choice of base spirit, including vodka, gin, aquavit, rum, cane juice rum, blanco tequila, reposado tequila, mezcal, bourbon, rye, wheated bourbon, scotch, cognac, amaro and wine (low proof). Next, a flavor profile is chosen: bright and refreshing, spirit forward, fruity, herbal, spicy, smokey, floral, bitter or sweet.

Atmosphere and space

The interior combines intimate, candlelit tables with a stately, classic bar, creating a sophisticated and timeless atmosphere. The entrance is located inside the ACME Hotel.
