Revolución de Cuba

Cuban-inspired restaurants and bars with tapas, cantina dishes, rum, cocktails, and music in seven UK cities.

About Revolución de Cuba

At Revolución de Cuba, the dining table and the bar share the spotlight. The British brand draws on Cuban culture and the Caribbean and South American blend of influences to bring together tapas, cantina dishes, rum, and music. Its story begins with a team interested in the spirit and an experimental bar in northern England: the idea was to bring the connection between food, cocktails, and celebration into an everyday outing.

The kitchen takes a contemporary approach to that cultural mix. Cuban sandwiches, burritos, burrito bowls, and burgers appear alongside tapas for sharing. The cocktail menu and rum selection extend a visit that can begin with a meal and continue at the bar. Cuban coffee features at locations such as Leeds and Nottingham; the brand’s offering extends beyond the evening.

Music changes the pace of the space. Programming includes Latin performances, DJ sets, salsa, and events such as Viva La Música and Fuego Fridays, with activities distributed among locations. Cocktail classes introduce drink-making, while birthdays, brunch, and private parties have their own booking options. Dinner and the dance floor are different moments within the same offering.

Belfast and Glasgow: Belfast is at 25–39 Arthur Street, BT1 4GQ, in a protected Art Nouveau building, with three bars and a mezzanine for cocktails and music. Glasgow occupies Culzean House, 36 Renfield Street, G2 1LU, combining table service, bar seating, and cocktail classes. Architecture and layout give each location its own personality.

Leeds and Manchester: Leeds is at 64–68 Call Lane, LS1 6DT, on the corner of Lower Briggate, with two floors for dining, drinking, and dancing. Manchester is at South Central, 11 Peter Street, M2 5QR; the Havana Club Room occupies the lower floor, with dining and the cocktail bar upstairs. They represent two ways of bringing the brand into a city center.

Milton Keynes, Norwich, and Nottingham: Milton Keynes is at 21 Savoy Crescent, MK9 3PU, within the 12th Street area, and has a heated garden. Norwich is at 7–9 Queen Street, NR2 4TL, with a terrace and rum bar. Nottingham occupies Alexandra House, 26–28 Market Street, NG1 6HW, near the Theatre Royal Concert Hall, connecting a meal with a cultural outing.

The current directory lists these seven locations. Reservations distinguish meals, brunch, celebrations, and corporate events; each location organizes its kitchen and programming. The shared identity lies in tapas, rum, and musical accompaniment, while each building, terrace, or floor plan gives the experience a specific form. This combination allows customers to choose both the gathering and the city where it will take place.
