Mandarin Cycles Ltd

Mandarin Cycles Ltd, bicycle shop in Norwich and Lowestoft

Mandarin Cycles Ltd is a family-run bicycle business established in 1997. The company operates in Norfolk and Suffolk through two stores, one in Norwich and one in Lowestoft, and combines the sale of bicycles and accessories with its own repair and maintenance workshop.

Bicycle range

The shop sells a wide range of bicycles thanks to its supplier network. The range is organised into categories including children's bikes, road bikes, electric bikes, BMX, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, traditional bikes, folding bikes and tag-a-longs. In addition to bicycles, it offers accessories and spare parts.

Among the brands and models in the range are Squish, Falcon, Tiger, Dawes, Scott, Neomouv, Python and Tribal, with examples such as the Squish 12" Balance, the Falcon Horizon Low Step, the Tiger Nova Lite, the Scott Aspect eRide 910, the Neomouv Enara 2 and the Tribal Dragon, Warrior and Trap V2 BMX bikes.

Service and fitting

Mandarin Cycles has bicycle mechanics on its premises. The company offers repair and maintenance services, and states that it has full and specialist service packages. To promote these packages, the shop offers a £10 labour voucher towards any repair or service when booking a full or specialist service.

The website also mentions the possibility of booking a test ride and in-store fitting services.

Offers and terms of sale

The site publishes weekly offers called "Manager Specials". At the time of scanning, the Norwich store was advertising the Neomouv Enara 2 TK with a 45 cm frame for £1,949 (RRP £2,249), applicable with the code NORWICH or by mentioning the offer in store. The Lowestoft store was advertising the Tiger HDR V2 with a 15-inch frame in grey/green for £369.99 (RRP £439.99), with code LOWESTOFT or in store, and only two units available.

The stated terms indicate that these offers cannot be combined with vouchers, sales or finance options. Vouchers cannot be combined with other offers or sales, are not valid with cycle schemes or finance options, nor on the purchase of the Volt brand; they must be used at the time of purchase and only one per transaction.

Customer service and contact channels

The company handles enquiries by email and telephone at its two stores. The website invites customers to get in touch if they cannot find a product in the online shop and to follow its Facebook and Instagram profiles for exclusive offers and competitions. It also welcomes customer reviews and feedback.
