About Tattu
Tattu brings together contemporary Asian cooking and design in restaurants with their own identity in each city. Two brothers founded the family business in 2015, developing its concept around Chinese cuisine, with Japanese influences in its current presentation. Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Edinburgh, and London form its British network, alongside a Dubai restaurant.
Its name connects tattooing as an art form with the idea of making a mark. That inspiration carries into interiors featuring natural materials, commissioned artwork, and stories connected with each space. The dining room becomes part of the visit, with different designs across locations rather than the same room reproduced in every city.
Food is intended for sharing. Dim sum and small plates begin the meal before larger dishes and desserts. Menus change by season and restaurant, so choosing a location also determines what diners can order. Lunch and evening set menus provide another way to organize the meal, offering structured combinations alongside a fully à la carte approach.
Black Dragon Brunch combines food, cocktails, and music on Saturdays. Private dining and events add other gathering formats, while gift vouchers offer a way to give a brand experience. Bars and dining rooms have distinct names and identities at several locations; that variety connects food, drinks, and atmosphere without making every visit the same.
Manchester and Leeds: Manchester is at 3 Hardman Square, Gartside Street, M3 3EB; Leeds is at Minerva House, 29 East Parade, LS1 5PS. The former includes Anchor Bar and the latter White Rose Bar. Both addresses belong to the British network and have their own reservation and contact channels.
Birmingham, Edinburgh, and London: Birmingham is at 18 Barwick Street, B3 2NT; Edinburgh is at 18 West Register Street, EH2 2AA; Tattu Soho occupies The Now Building Rooftop, Denmark Street, London WC2H 0LA. Yang Bar, Temple Bar, and the Soho bar accompany their respective restaurants. Canary Wharf is announced as coming soon and is not presented as an already operating location.
Dubai: Tattu Dubai occupies levels 74–81 of Ciel Dubai Marina, Dubai Marina, United Arab Emirates. The brand identifies Sky Pool and Sky Lounge there, spaces specific to that location. Choosing a restaurant therefore also means choosing architecture, a menu, and an urban setting, alongside a shared approach to Asian cooking.
