TalentDesk
Platform for organizing external workers and vendors through onboarding, tasks, contracts, consolidated invoicing, and integrations.
About TalentDesk
TalentDesk brings external-worker information, assigned work, and outstanding payments into one system. The platform serves businesses using freelancers, contractors, and vendors with their own teams. Its approach starts with a particular problem: when every relationship is managed separately, seeing who handles each task and what it costs becomes difficult.
The founding team created PeoplePerHour in 2007, a marketplace for finding freelance professionals. TalentDesk develops another stage of that history, focused on managing the external workforce a company already uses. Its published story connects the product with experience in the freelance economy without presenting the two services as one platform.
Worker onboarding uses configurable forms and workflows. Profiles, skills, and documents form a directory for finding people for a task. That database connects with work allocation, milestone and deliverable tracking, and monitoring project budgets.
Payment automation combines contractor and vendor invoices into one consolidated company invoice. TalentDesk advertises payments in more than one hundred ninety countries and over one hundred ten currencies. Cost and task information connects spending with completed assignments, while integrations link the workflow with accounting tools and other applications.
TalentMarket adds sourcing for new collaborators who can join the company’s directory. The platform also offers contract management and Agent of Record services, under which it enters contracts on a client’s behalf according to the selected service. These platform modules are distinct from task, payment, and onboarding tools.
Technology, consulting, agencies, media, and digital learning are among the sectors it targets. Operations, finance, and human-resources teams can work from the same information. System demonstrations and customer support walk through that process before organizing a live operation, from onboarding a worker to delivery and payment.
