Cartridge World

Cartridge World: ink and toner cartridges for printers in the UK

Cartridge World is a British supplier specialising in the sale of ink and toner cartridges for printers, both genuine and compatible. The company presents itself as one of the UK's largest specialists in this segment and serves individuals, businesses, government bodies and schools. Its catalogue covers consumables for the main brands on the market, including HP, Epson, Canon, Lexmark, Brother, Kodak, Samsung, Dell and Xerox.

Ink and toner catalogue

The range is organised into two main groups: ink cartridges for inkjet printers and toner cartridges for laser devices. In both cases, customers can choose between genuine or compatible products. The company also sells its own brand, Cartridge World Own-Brand, with ink and toner cartridges that undergo quality control and are backed by a two-year guarantee.

The site allows you to find the right cartridge by printer model or cartridge number. Among the most common models the company says it supplies are HP OfficeJet Pro, HP LaserJet Pro, HP Deskjet 2700 and 2620, HP Envy 4500E, Brother HL-L and MFC-L, Epson EcoTank, Epson Expression Home XP-452 and XP-3100, Epson WorkForce Pro WF-4725DWF, Canon PIXMA MG3650, MG5750 and TS5351, Xerox C Series and WorkCentre 6515DN, and Lexmark MX410de, among others.

Printers and technology

In addition to consumables, Cartridge World sells printers and technology equipment aimed at home, study and office use. This line is presented as a complement to the main cartridge business, with the aim of covering the printing needs of different types of user.

Business accounts and educational institutions

The company has a business account programme with discounted pricing and dedicated support in the UK. It also offers school accounts and student discounts. These services are aimed at organisations that need a recurring supply of printing consumables.

Guarantee, compatibility and printer protection

Cartridge World's compatible cartridges come with a two-year guarantee. The company states that its products are designed to match the performance of genuine cartridges and that each unit undergoes rigorous testing, with worn components replaced. According to the information published, using compatible cartridges does not void the printer warranty, a point the company attributes to confirmations from HP and other manufacturers. It also offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee and, in the case of toner, a money-back guarantee if the customer is not satisfied.

Shipping and customer service

Cartridge World offers free tracked delivery on orders over £25. Most cartridges are available for next-day delivery. Customer service is provided from the UK by phone, email and online chat, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, excluding bank holidays. The company also guarantees a response in the event of incompatibility: if the cartridge is not suitable for the printer, it is replaced or refunded.

Loyalty programme and other services

The company has the CW Stars loyalty programme and the option to join a discount club that offers 10% off the first order of own-brand cartridges. It also promotes the recycling of empty cartridges and maintains a library of free ebooks. The site includes a blog with printing guides, such as articles on what's inside a toner cartridge, the use of artificial intelligence in office printing and common mistakes that waste ink and toner.
