The Beefy Boys is a restaurant chain specialising in burgers, beers and cocktails, with a presence in several UK cities. The project began in Hereford around a decade ago, when four friends started cooking burgers and barbecuing in their back gardens. History and awards

The company came to prominence after taking part in the Grillstock BBQ festival in Bristol, where they won the award for best burger. That result led them to represent the UK at the World Food Championships in Las Vegas, where they finished second among fifty international teams. Later, in 2015, they won first prize for signature burger at the Worlds Best Burger in Orlando, Florida, and in 2016 they repeated the feat in Alabama. In 2023, the company took home the awards for best signature burger and best burger chef at the UK's National Burger Awards. Expansion and locations

The first restaurant opened in Hereford in 2015. Due to demand, the site was expanded into the adjoining building to double its capacity. In 2021 the second establishment opened in Shrewsbury and in 2023 the third in Cheltenham. The company also operates a food truck that travels the country.
