About Speedy Swimming Ltd.

Speedy Swimming: swim and triathlon coaching in Surrey and Hampshire

Speedy Swimming Ltd. is a sports coaching company founded in 2008 by Nick Harris, triathlete and IRONMAN finisher. Its activity focuses on teaching front crawl technique through video analysis, as well as personalised coaching for triathletes and endurance athletes. The company is based in Surrey and Hampshire (UK), although it also offers personal online coaching worldwide.

Swimming services

The company provides private front crawl technique lessons with video analysis at Guildford Lido throughout the year. These sessions can be one-to-one (1-2-1), for two people (2-2-1) or for three (3-2-1), and at Guildford Lido a swim lane is reserved exclusively for the lesson. Lessons are also offered at local pools in north-east Hampshire and south-west Surrey.

In addition, Speedy Swimming organises adult swim groups, with technique and fitness sessions. These include:

  • Fitness & Technique Squad: sessions on Fridays at 12:00, from 20 February 2026, at Guildford Lido outdoor pool. The aim is to improve stamina, speed and technique, reducing stroke count by up to 10%.
  • Endurance Technique Sessions, Intermediate Fitness & Technique Squad, Improver Technique Squad and Beginner Group SSP Sessions.
  • Open water swimming classes, with specific clinics such as Boscombe Sea Swim Clinic and Hilsea Lido.
  • 12-week swim training plans and a free 10-day open water swim plan for triathletes and open water swimmers.

Triathlon and endurance coaching

Speedy Swimming offers personalised coaching for triathletes of all levels, from beginners to competitors at triathlon world championships. Services include endurance training plans for all distances and phases, with specific plans for swim technique, open water and Xterra. Run video analysis is also offered to improve form, efficiency and reduce injury risk, with efficiency drills included.

The company has the Stealth Triathlon Squad & Skool Community programme, aimed at busy 70.3 and Ironman athletes over 35 looking for structure that fits real life. This programme provides a clear plan, expert guidance and a supportive community.

Another service is Guru Dynamic Bike Fitting, an advanced online bike fitting that optimises comfort, power and control, and helps improve climbing, reduce pain and increase performance from anywhere.
