Pizza Punks

Sourdough pizza with a 72-hour fermentation, customizable toppings, cocktails, and six United Kingdom restaurants.

About Pizza Punks

Pizza Punks began in 2016 with an idea that still defines its table: letting diners combine pizza toppings for one fixed price, without charging separately for every addition. That freedom comes with sourdough made by hand in its restaurants. Its current United Kingdom network comprises six locations, with Glasgow among the cities where diners can experience the concept.

The dough undergoes a double fermentation lasting at least seventy-two hours. The kitchen uses Caputo 00 flour, San Marzano tomatoes, and its own starter. The style takes inspiration from Naples and New York: the raised crust of the former and the firmer bite associated with the latter. The company presents the combination as its own recipe rather than fitting it into a traditional category.

Building a pizza is one option, but the menu also offers ready-designed combinations. The Margherita brings together San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil. The Pepperoni adds pepperoni and nduja; the prosciutto pizza includes mushrooms, arugula, Parmesan, and balsamic. These examples allow diners to compare a classic choice with a bolder combination before creating a personal version.

Cocktails and craft beer accompany the food, while the Indie Disco Brunch program provides another way to combine music and dining. Menus are organized by restaurant. Reservations, pickup, and home delivery accompany dining in; the brand has its own delivery service, with ordering access for each city.

Glasgow and Belfast: Glasgow is at 90 St Vincent Street; Belfast is at 20–22 Waring Street. Under its licensing conditions, the Belfast restaurant can serve guests under eighteen only until 9:30 p.m. That distinction matters for a family dinner and avoids treating all six restaurants as if they operated under identical rules.

Newcastle and Leeds: the Newcastle upon Tyne restaurant occupies 34–40 Grey Street; Leeds is at 37 Bond Street. Both list an 11 a.m. opening during the week. The addresses distinguish meeting points, while each location’s menu retains the option of ordering a diner-designed pizza or a house combination.

Liverpool and Nottingham: Liverpool is at 30–32 Bold Street; Nottingham is at Unit 2, One Fletcher Gate. Gift cards and Punk Rewards extend the connection with the restaurants beyond a single visit. Choosing a pizza remains central: long-fermented dough, ingredients with Italian roots, and a flexible approach to ordering a meal.
