Edinbane Lodge is a fine dining restaurant with rooms located on the Isle of Skye, in Scotland. It occupies a historic 16th-century hunting lodge that was completely renovated and restored in 2018. The establishment combines a multi-course tasting menu dining experience with accommodation, and its culinary offering evolves with the seasons.

Seasonal cuisine and local produce

The Lodge's kitchen is built around a multi-course menu that changes with the seasons and is based on the island's natural produce. The establishment states that it sources selected local ingredients from producers, growers, crofters and fishermen in the area, many of whom are regular collaborators. Every dish is conceived and prepared in the Lodge's own kitchen.

Awards and ratings

The restaurant was awarded four AA Rosettes in 2022, an accolade that, according to its presentation, makes it the first restaurant in the Scottish Highlands to receive it. In 2023 it was named Restaurant of the Year at the Scottish Excellence Awards. It also appears in the Harden's Guide and the Michelin Guide, and is the only restaurant in the Highlands with an "exceptional" rating in The Good Food Guide. La Liste includes it among the 1000 best restaurants in the world, and its description places it in La Liste's Top 200. The Michelin Guide describes its menu as "imaginative, with bold, natural flavours".
