Eden Steam Showers

Eden Steam Showers, British steam shower specialist since 2003

Eden Steam Showers (Eden Distribution Ltd) is a specialist supplier of steam showers, shower cabins and self-contained shower pods. The company presents itself as the longest-established specialist supplier of this type of product in the UK and states it has been operating since 2003. Its business focuses on direct sales to the public, without middlemen or selling through third-party websites, with the stated aim of keeping prices low without compromising on the quality of materials and components.

Range: steam showers, cabins and shower pods

The range is organised into three main lines:

• Steam showers, including free standing models.
• Shower cabins and self-contained shower pods.
• Spare parts for its products.

The company describes itself as an innovator in fully customisable modular shower cabins and sells its own-design cabins called Frog Shower, built for Eden to its own specifications. According to its presentation, these cabins are custom built by the manufacturer and are not sold through third parties.

Direct sales and pricing policy

Eden Steam Showers states that it does not use middlemen and supplies directly from the factory to the public. The company says its prices are open, transparent and fully inclusive, with no hidden costs, and that it does not use misleading promotions. It also notes that the price of its products reflects the quality of the shower's construction and not the retailer's margin. The site mentions free delivery, with the exception of the Highlands and Islands.

Showroom, display area and warehouse

The company has a showroom in Chobham (Surrey) with display models, where it serves customers who want to see the products before buying. It also has a permanent unstaffed display area at Longacres Garden Centre in Bagshot (Surrey), open seven days a week, and its own warehouse in Bisley (Surrey) where it keeps stock of showers and spare parts. Eden recommends viewing steam showers and cabins before purchase, as it considers that the build quality of free standing showers cannot be judged from images alone.

Customer service and after-sales support

The company describes itself as a small family business and offers full after-sales support, as well as a service it describes as friendly and professional. It can be contacted by phone, email and by visiting the showroom, and responds to messages and calls outside opening hours as quickly as possible. The showroom has customer parking at the front. The company warns that, due to its size, it may close outside the advertised hours or use cover staff; in such cases it publishes the relevant details, such as the closure on 22 September due to a stock arrival and staff shortage.
