About Trèsind Studio

Trèsind Studio, three-MICHELIN-star fine-dining Indian cuisine in Dubai

Trèsind Studio is a fine-dining Indian restaurant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its offering is built around an immersive tasting menu that seeks to reframe common perceptions of Indian cuisine, presenting flavours both new and familiar through a creative lens. The restaurant received its third MICHELIN star at the MICHELIN Guide ceremony 2025 and is ranked no. 11 on the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024 list. The MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2023 described it as "a masterpiece of originality and precision".

Tasting menu and culinary offering

The main offering is an immersive tasting menu priced at AED 1350. Service is organised in two seatings, at 6:00 PM and 9:15 PM. The house philosophy places emphasis on the transformation and amplification of humble ingredients, sourced locally from organic and sustainable farmers in the United Arab Emirates.

The restaurant offers a 60% vegetarian menu option and a fully vegetarian menu as standard. Scale fish are not part of the restaurant option. Shellfish are served when they are in season and can be certified as ethically sourced, an invasive species where they are caught, or as byproduct.

Chef Himanshu Saini

Chef Himanshu Saini is considered one of the youngest tastemakers in Indian cuisine today. He began his culinary career under the mentorship of Chef Manish Mehrotra of Indian Accent in Delhi. His stated goal has been to change the perception of Indian cuisine and elevate the way it is experienced. Coming from an agricultural family in India, he notes that he grew up surrounded by fresh produce, herbs and flowers, which has created an innate inclination towards using locally sourced ingredients, organically expressed in the menu at Trèsind Studio.

Papadom, botanic bar

Papadom is the botanic bar program at Trèsind Studio. It offers a selection of specially curated beverages and a collection of premium wine labels in a climate-controlled cellar. The cocktail menu was designed by mixologist Dom Carella from Italy and focuses on showcasing a diverse range of flavours and innovative creations through infusions in spirit-based and non-spirit-based drinks. Carella's beverages seek diverse flavour profiles and work in synergy with the kitchen to utilise previously unused byproducts, consciously reducing kitchen waste.

Accolades and publications

In addition to its three MICHELIN stars and no. 11 ranking on World's 50 Best Restaurants 2024, Trèsind Studio was named the winner of 'The Art of Hospitality' award at the inaugural Middle East and North Africa's 50 Best Restaurants 2022 awards by The World's 50 Best Restaurants. The restaurant is also the author of the book 'The Rise of Indian Food: Recipes Reimagined by Trèsind Studio', available through Amazon and Phaidon.

Service philosophy and sustainability

The dining room philosophy is based on the popular Indian phrase "Atithi Devo Bhava", which literally means 'Guest Is God'. The restaurant applies a sustainable fishing policy and has a reservation policy. Trèsind Studio is part of Passion F&B Management, a unit of Passion F&B.
