Vyn Restaurant, Daniel Berlin's new venture in Österlen

Vyn Restaurant is the new establishment from chef Daniel Berlin, who returns with a different location but maintains his focus on offering a top-tier dining experience with the best of Scandinavia. The complex is located in southeastern Sweden, in the Skåne region, in the picturesque Österlen area. It occupies a former stately farm atop a hill, with views over the Österlen countryside and the Baltic Sea, and some 18 acres of land extending down to the waterfront.

Restaurant: cuisine with Scandinavian roots

The restaurant's ambition is to create an experience that offers seasonal cuisine based on its Scanian and Scandinavian roots, as well as the local flora and fauna. The approach includes time and space to relax and contemplate in beautiful surroundings, both before, during, and after the meal.

Accommodation: 15-room boutique hotel

Adjacent to the restaurant is a 15-room boutique hotel, designed for a tranquil night or two, to unhurriedly explore everything Österlen has to offer, or simply to rest and unwind.

Atelier: private dining room

The Atelier is the complex's elegant chambre séparée, a space reserved for private dining, discreetly tucked away from the main restaurant. It accommodates 7 to 24 guests and is ideal for distinguished gatherings, whether intimate family celebrations, refined tastings, or corporate events.

Food & Wine Bar and greenhouse cocktail bar

A casual and more intimate food & wine bar complements the restaurant and serves lighter in-season dishes to the public, as well as breakfast to hotel guests. The complex also features a cocktail bar located in a greenhouse, nestled among the greenery, conceived to prolong slow afternoons, enjoy a pre-dinner drink, or savor a final glass as the evening winds down.

Events: weddings, meetings, and packages

Vyn offers the possibility of celebrating weddings in one of the most beautiful settings in Österlen, with proposals tailored to each event. It also has a meeting concept aimed at management teams, boards of directors, or other gatherings requiring a discreet and relaxed atmosphere in an inspiring environment. Packages combine an evening of dining with a night at the boutique hotel.

The garden and local suppliers

The project seeks to supply its kitchen with as many vegetables and herbs as possible grown on site, complementing the wide array of seasonal produce it sources from dedicated local growers. The goal is for every ingredient to arrive at its optimal moment to enrich the menu.

Gift cards and team

Gift cards are valid for all parts of VYN, including the restaurant and the hotel; booking is not included, and the recipient must book on their own after receiving the card. The company states that it is continuously looking for exceptional team members and talent in all departments, and accepts internship applications as long as they are part of an established education or training program.
