About Molino de Urdániz
Molino de Urdániz, fine dining with two Michelin stars in Navarre
Molino de Urdániz is a fine-dining restaurant located in Urdániz, in the Chartered Community of Navarra, with two Michelin stars. Its cuisine is led by chef David Yárnoz, who defines it under the concept of "balanced cuisine".
The establishment is part of a project that combines haute cuisine with an informal proposal, Origin, and has extended its presence to other countries through international openings and collaborations.
David Yárnoz and the kitchen of balance
David Yárnoz is the chef of Molino de Urdániz and responsible for its culinary proposal, presented on the site as “balanced cuisine”. The restaurant maintains a specific page dedicated to its figure and culinary approach.
The company declares to remain faithful to its Navarrese roots as it seeks a constant evolution, with the aim of transferring its essence to new places through cultural exchange.
Restaurants in the world: Taipei and Origen
The project of Molino de Urdániz includes a replica of its fine-dining restaurant in Taipei, capital of Taiwan, presented as the reinvention of its essence 10,000 kilometers away.
In Taiwan, Origen operates, an informal proposal that transfers traditional Navarrese cooking with touches of creativity, adapted to local raw materials.
In Urdániz, the site distinguishes two spaces: Molino de Urdániz and Origen, both with the same address and contact phone.
International projection and recognitions
The activity of the restaurant transcends its usual venues through temporary collaborations. During September and October, the cuisine of Molino de Urdániz moves to the Cloud9 restaurant, in Cyprus, in a two-month stay.
The project has also participated in the international Star Wine List international final held in Sweden, where it represented Spain and was finalist in the category of Best Wine List.
Also, chef David Yárnoz has participated in Tokyo in Spain Fusion: The Premium Experience, a meeting that brings together food leaders.
