Bajamar Natural Pools
Free coastal complex with two large seawater pools, a children’s pool, changing rooms, ramps and seasonal lifeguard service.
About Bajamar Natural Pools
Bajamar Natural Pools turn an exposed stretch of coastline into a more comfortable place to swim with family. La Laguna’s tourism office describes two large pools and a children’s pool protected by a breakwater. The complex offers free access, changing rooms, paths with ramps and handrails, and seasonal lifeguard service.
Unlike a conventional pool, the water here remains Atlantic seawater. Swell can be powerful beyond the shelter and tides shape the shoreline; follow flags, coastal-condition updates and staff instructions. Google Maps lists the site as open around the clock, while the City Council publishes different lifeguard periods in winter and summer. These are separate facts: supervision hours indicate when staff are present, not a guarantee about sea conditions.
Recent Google Maps reviews mention the views, family atmosphere, changing rooms and the chance to swim in seawater. They also refer to waves, tides and parking on busy days. It is an appealing stop for combining a swim with a walk along Bajamar’s seafront; arriving early can make parking easier.
The City Council publishes beach conditions and lifeguard times. The pools are a public bathing area in Bajamar on the municipality’s north coast, not a water park with mechanical rides or equipment rental.
