Restaurante JCG: ingredient-led fine dining in La Malagueta

The JCG Restaurant is a fine-dining restaurant located in the neighborhood of La Malagueta, in Malaga, next to the Center Pompidou Málaga. Its cuisine is articulated around the local, seasonal produce, the market and the technique, according to the presentation of the restaurant itself.

The project is led by chef José Carlos García, with more than two decades of experience and a training career together with great masters. The restaurant describes its current chapter as a moment of creative freedom in which the cuisine reflects the chef's identity and his connection with Málaga.

A new stage after fifteen years in the Port

After fifteen years in the Port of Málaga, José Carlos García started a change of location that the restaurant presents as something more than a transfer. Since September 28, the establishment occupies a more intimate and personal space in La Malagueta, a few meters from where its history began and next to the Center Pompidou Málaga.

The proposal maintains its commitment to the product, the market and the technique, with Malaga as a constant reference.

The chef and his cooking

José Carlos García designs a cuisine based on absolute respect for the local, seasonal produce. His training together with leading chefs and his experience of more than two decades sustain a stage of creative freedom in which the chef's identity and his connection with Málaga are central axes.
