About Cocolino

A family pizzeria that has grown with Girona

Cocolino opened in 1986 and moved to its current home in Girona’s Pedret neighborhood in 1992. The family-run restaurant describes itself as the city’s oldest pizzeria, and its history is visible in the steady, home-style approach: the dough is made by hand with local ingredients, then baked into a thin, crisp crust.

Pizza is the draw, but the kitchen also makes fresh pasta, salads, main courses, and desserts. The menu moves from familiar classics to combinations that lean into Catalan and regional ingredients, including Catalan sausage, local beef, and seafood. It is a neighborhood restaurant whose identity has been shaped by decades of family cooking.
