Hotel Echaurren is an hotel and restaurant business located in Ezcaray, in La Rioja, integrated into the Relais & Châteaux collection. Four restaurants under one roof

The group's culinary proposal is divided between four spaces with differentiated formats and schedules:

• El Portal de Echaurren: fine-dining restaurant devoted to conceptual, creative cooking. The company points out that it was the first restaurant in La Rioja to earn a Michelin star and also the first in the region to reach the second one. Its service concentrates on Wednesday dinners; Thursday, Friday and Saturday meals and dinners; and Sunday meals.
• Echaurren Tradición: restaurant linked to traditional Rioja cuisine, with a menu based on family recipes. Open every day for lunch and dinner.
• Bistró El Cuartito: bistro format with dinner service on Fridays, lunches and dinners on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Tapas Bar: located in the Fireplace Hall, with dinner service every day.

The Echaurren family and the legacy of Marisa Sánchez

The history of the house is associated with the figure of Marisa Sánchez, recognized with the National Gastronomy Award for the Best Head Chef in 1987 and with the Medal of Merit of Labor in 2008. Her cuisine of taste and tradition, with croquettes as a seal of identity, is part of the legacy recorded in Echaurren Tradición's menu.

Francis Paniego, chef and youngest son of Marisa Sánchez, continues at the head of the establishment, maintaining the line of work initiated by his mother in this century-old house.

Cancellation does not cost up to 48 hours before lunch or dinner; after that period, an amount is applied per person that varies according to the restaurant: 120 euros in El Portal de Echaurren, 60 euros in Echaurren Tradición and 30 euros in El Cuartito.
