What D'Tapas Córdoba is

D'Tapas Córdoba is a bar and restaurant operated by the COVAP livestock cooperative at Calle Cruz Conde 12 in central Córdoba. Its modern, functional dining room serves breakfast, tapas and dinner around products the cooperative makes in Valle de Los Pedroches.

Products and food

The menu draws on three COVAP product families:

• Meat: from animals raised outdoors in the Los Pedroches dehesa under an extensive livestock model
• Dairy: milk from cooperative farms with oversight of animal welfare, collection, processing and sale
• Iberian products: 100% Iberian pigs raised by producers with more than four generations of experience, within a closed production cycle and artisanal processing model

The restaurant serves breakfasts with daily-collected milk, Iberian-focused tapas and dinner. Online reservations are available.

Hours and contact

Usual hours are 9 a.m.–midnight. Published closures include staff vacation from July 25 through August 25, December 25 and January 6. On December 31 it opens 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; it is closed January 1.

The company behind the restaurant

D'Tapas belongs to COVAP, the Valle de los Pedroches livestock cooperative headquartered at Calle Mayor 56, 14400 Pozoblanco, Córdoba. COVAP markets products under Alta Expresión de Los Pedroches, Alta Expresión Esenciaúnica and Alta Expresión Selección Montanera and operates its own online store. Store-order service is available at 900 92 22 47 and tienda@ibericoscovap.com, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. and 4–6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

The restaurant acts as a direct showcase for the cooperative's production chain, carrying milk, meat and Iberian products from Los Pedroches into an all-day city-center format.
