About Les Trementinaires del Coll-Vallcarca

Direct-from-producer food in El Coll

Les Trementinaires del Coll-Vallcarca is an agroecological food cooperative based in Barcelona’s El Coll neighborhood, in the Gràcia district. Member households organize to buy organic, local, fresh, seasonal, and non-GMO products through direct commercial relationships with producers, without intermediaries.

How the cooperative works

The cooperative distributes orders and meets every Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at its space at 8 Carrer de l'Aldea. Orders are managed through the Katuma online store. Members share internal responsibilities through work committees known as “Komandos,” covering areas such as finances, technology, logistics, welcoming new members, events, and external relations. The cooperative also holds a meeting on the second Wednesday of each month.
