About Kanròs Restaurant
A family story behind the name
Kanròs is a restaurant in Alcàsser whose name reaches back to the family kitchen of the brothers who run it. The restaurant traces it to Casa Rosa, the home of their grandmother Rosa, and the name evolved through local shorthand before becoming Kanròs. That story fits a menu with a traditional Mediterranean foundation and room for the kitchen to experiment.
The restaurant's regular menu sits alongside a Friday offering called “Triem per tu,” a special menu built around the start of the weekend. Kanròs is also part of the international Slow Food movement, whose stated focus brings food enjoyment together with community and the environment. For diners making the short trip from Valencia, the draw is a restaurant with a clear family identity and a kitchen shaped by Valencian and Mediterranean cooking.
