Kendall’s youth-soccer map is shaped by public parks as much as by club brands. Kendall Soccer Park is a county complex with five full-size artificial-turf pitches, smaller fields operated by Soccer5 USA, a walking path, fitness area, Teqball tables and concessions. Miami-Dade County notes that outside organizations run their own hosted programs independently. That distinction helps parents understand why a park may host several teams without all of them sharing one schedule or registration desk.
Miami Futbol Academy Rush lists Millers Pond Park, Westwind Lakes Park and Kendall Soccer Park among its training venues. Its competitive boys’ route extends through U19 and includes MLS NEXT teams; the academy also publishes MLS GO, a coed introductory option for ages 4–14. The current MLS GO page describes a 12-week program with weekday training and a weekly match, and shows a $200 fee with uniform included. That is a defined entry-level option, while the competitive track requires families to verify player evaluation, team placement, weekly workload and travel. A location shown on the facilities page is not automatically the player’s assigned field; check the team calendar in the academy’s current scheduling system.
SFK Soccer Academy trains at Kendall Soccer Park’s field five. Its development program lists ages 3–15 and three one-hour sessions per week. The competitive section describes three weekly sessions of about 90 minutes, weekend games, two leagues and around five or six tournaments per season. The Academy’s separate program pages differ slightly on the youngest competitive age, so families should ask for the current roster matched to the child’s birth year. It states that the organization began in 2003 and publishes its contact address and social channels on its official site.
The park itself can make a practice night more workable: County information identifies five regulation turf fields, smaller Soccer5 fields, a walking path, a fitness zone, Teqball and concessions. It also clarifies that independent providers are responsible for their own program operations. Check which features are open during the team’s slot, whether the session is at field five or another venue, and whether the match location changes on weekends. The drive from home to field is part of the commitment: Rush uses multiple sites, while SFK’s listed academy address points to this Kendall park.
For families comparing the two, start with the player’s age and the desired route. MLS GO is a recreational entry point with a fixed short season; MLS NEXT and SFK competitive soccer involve selection, weekend competition and a larger time commitment. Ask each club what its current fee includes, whether uniforms are separate, how many games or tournaments are planned, what travel costs may arise and how schedule changes are communicated. Avoid comparing a published MLS GO fee with a competitive season that has a different structure.
The region’s professional first-division side is Inter Miami CF, an MLS club whose 2026 home is Miami Freedom Park. That supplies a local soccer reference but does not indicate a formal tie with Rush or SFK. For a child seeking a soccer pathway, the more immediate choice is the schedule, coaching group and field that fit family life. Use the academies’ current program pages and confirm enrollment directly: Rush MLS GO, Rush facilities and SFK programs.
Confirm the child’s team, current field assignment and full season cost before registering.
Options to compare

Miami Fútbol Academy Rush serves players from the Kendall area through several county facilities, so the place named on a team page matters as much as the academy name. The academy’s facilities list includes Millers Pond Park at 13350 SW 47th Street, Westwind Lakes Park, Kendall Soccer Park and Miam
Boys’ development and competitive pathway, MLS NEXT teams, and an entry-level coed MLS GO program.
SFK Soccer Academy
8011 SW 127th Ave, Miami, FL 33186
SFK Soccer Academy trains at field five of Kendall Soccer Park, using a single field address that is easy to confuse with the nearby county park’s other pitches. Its programs page divides the offer into a development group for children ages 3–15 and a competitive program for school-age players. The
Development for young players and competitive teams, with regular technical practices and weekend matches for competitive groups.
