SFK Soccer Academy

SFK Soccer Academy trains at field five of Kendall Soccer Park, using a single field address that is easy to confuse with the nearby county park’s other pitches. Its programs page divides the offer into a development group for children ages 3–15 and a competitive program for school-age players. The development schedule calls for three one-hour practices each week; the competitive page lists three weekly sessions of about an hour and a half and weekend matches. The academy says teams take part in two leagues and typically five or six tournaments during a season. Because its separate pages differ slightly on the minimum competitive age, families should ask which current roster fits the child’s birth year.

The club says it was founded in 2003 and describes soccer instruction as its main activity. The location page gives 8011 SW 127th Avenue and the public phone number; the field itself is in a large county park whose facilities include multiple regulation turf pitches, smaller fields, walking and fitness areas, and concession service. Check the academy’s calendar for the exact practice time and the County’s page for park operations: the field is not a private campus, and a training reservation should not be confused with access to every park amenity. The academy’s site links its Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube accounts, where it publishes team and seasonal notices.

SFK is a useful comparison for a family that wants recurring skill sessions without jumping straight to a high-travel league. Its competitive side adds weekend games and tournament play, so the real comparison is time and season commitment as much as coaching style. Before enrolling, ask what the stated program fee includes, whether uniform items are separate, which tournaments the current roster expects to attend and whether there are additional travel costs. The public pages describe the format but do not provide one universal current fee for every age group, so do not estimate a season budget from a different team’s price.

For Kendall families, the academy sits within a broader soccer landscape rather than alone. Miami Fútbol Academy Rush also lists Kendall Soccer Park among several venues and offers both competitive teams and a coed entry-level program. Choosing between them requires checking the player’s age, preferred pathway, team location and weekly schedule. The nearby professional reference is Inter Miami CF of Major League Soccer; that is a regional top-division club, not an affiliation claim for SFK. A practical visit starts by confirming field five, the correct age group and the current calendar with the academy.
