Homestead’s youth soccer choices now span a no-tryout recreational program, a competitive academy and a club whose monthly price is posted in plain view. Miami FC Liceo Futbol welcomes boys and girls ages 4–18 at all experience levels and organizes fall and spring seasons. Homestead SC places U7–U16 players after a free trial and sets fixed practice days through its team app. All Stars Homestead lists groups through U16 and publishes its $129 registration plus $99 monthly membership. Each is a different kind of commitment, so compare the child’s goal and the complete cost, not just the headline fee.
Liceo is the most open-entry option on paper: the club describes a professionally designed recreational program for beginners and experienced players, with uniform included. It says a standout may be referred to Miami FC Academy staff, while leaving selection to that staff. Homestead SC places players by age after a free session and charges separate game-day, federation and competition costs; its public pages explain those obligations but do not post the dollar amount for registration or tuition. All Stars is more transparent numerically: the website states $228 due at enrollment and $99 per month after that, while tournament fees remain separate. Read the auto-renewal terms and ask what a normal season costs after all required charges.
The fields are not interchangeable
Two organizations list Homestead Air Reserve Park, the 212-acre county site at 27401 SW 127th Avenue, with soccer fields, parking and a recreation center. Homestead SC uses that park and sends team schedules after its trial; the Miami-Dade park record helps locate the park but does not identify the exact field used by an academy. All Stars instead publishes 26851 SW Pennsylvania Avenue and says free parking is available at its training ground. Miami FC Liceo lists SPH Homestead Regional Park at 1601 SE 28th Avenue. The Sports Performance Hub project broke ground in 2026, so families should confirm which pitch and entrance are currently operating before using a route.
That construction gives the neighborhood a larger soccer story. Miami FC, a USL Championship Division II club, has identified the Sports Performance Hub as its future South Dade home; the 10,000-seat stadium and wider campus are a planned development, not an open professional stadium today. Inter Miami CF is the separate MLS Division I club in Miami. For a family enrolling this fall, the immediate decision is more local: whether a child needs casual development or competitive team play, where the actual training field sits, and which charges are due before the first match. Confirm those three points in writing with the club.
Confirm the child’s team, current field assignment and full season cost before registering.
